How It Works

The integration automatically tracks the time spent on calls, transcribes and summarizes conversations, and allows attorneys to save call notes directly into Lawcus.

Connect Lawcus

  1. Log in to your Reflekt Legal account.
  2. Navigate to Integrations.
  3. Search for Lawcus.
  4. Click Connect Lawcus and you will be prompted to log in to your Lawcus account.
  5. Follow the flow to complete the login process.

Once you log in, the integration will be connected.

Required Permissions

If your Lawcus connection just stopped working: re-authorize it. Log in to Reflekt Legal, go to Integrations, find Lawcus and click Connect Lawcus again, signing in with an account that has the access described below. Do this even if the integration still shows as connected — re-authorizing is safe and does not create a duplicate connection. More on why connections drop.

The connected account needs:

  • Sign in as a firm user with access to the leads, matters, and custom fields the assistant should read and update — not a limited or view-only login.
  • If your firm limits which matters or pipelines a user works with, sign in with an account that can reach every pipeline the assistant should work with.
  • Prefer a dedicated integration user over a personal login where your firm's Lawcus plan allows it, so the connection doesn't depend on one person's account staying active.

To check or change what an account can do, click your profile avatar and choose Manage Your Organization, then open Roles and Permissions. Roles control which records and features that user can reach.

note

Editing permissions per role is only available on Lawcus's higher plans (currently Elite and Enterprise) — on Essential and Growth, roles come as they are. If you're not sure which account has the right access, contact Lawcus support to confirm, or reach out to us and we'll help you check.

If the connection drops

Lawcus connections are authorized through OAuth, so there is no key or password of ours to keep valid — but the authorization itself can end. The connection typically drops when the connected user is deactivated, or when Reflekt Legal is disconnected on the Lawcus side; connected apps are managed under Settings → Apps & Integrations (click your profile avatar, top right, then Settings). When this happens, lead sync and pipeline updates stop silently until the connection is re-authorized.

If you notice leads no longer syncing:

  1. Log in to your Reflekt Legal account.
  2. Navigate to Integrations.
  3. Search for Lawcus.
  4. Click Connect Lawcus again and complete the login flow. Do this even if the integration still shows as connected — re-authorizing is safe and will not create a duplicate connection.
