Use OpenPhone's call flow builder to route inbound calls to your Reflekt Legal assistant number.

Before You Start

Make sure you have:

  • Your Reflekt Legal assistant number
  • Admin access to the OpenPhone workspace and number
  • A decision on whether Reflekt Legal should answer all calls or only after certain call-flow conditions are met
  • Confirmation that your forwarding setup will preserve the original caller's number in caller ID if that is required for your workflow

Caller ID Requirement

Your Reflekt Legal assistant should receive the original caller's number in caller ID, not just your OpenPhone number.

Set Up Forwarding

  1. Sign in to OpenPhone and open the number you want to route to Reflekt Legal.
  2. Open the number's call flow.
  3. Choose Forward all calls if every call should go directly to your assistant number.
  4. If you only want conditional routing, add a Forward call step inside your call flow after the point where calls should leave OpenPhone.
  5. Enter your Reflekt Legal assistant number.
  6. Publish the updated call flow.

OpenPhone's help center now appears under Quo in some places, but the forwarding concepts are the same.

caution

Quo / OpenPhone's public forwarding documentation indicates that forwarded calls may show your OpenPhone business number as caller ID at the destination instead of the original inbound caller. If your Reflekt Legal setup requires the original caller ID, confirm this behavior with OpenPhone before using this workflow in production.

Test Your Setup

  1. Call your OpenPhone number.
  2. Confirm the call reaches the correct Reflekt Legal assistant number.
  3. Confirm whether the forwarded call shows the original caller's number or your OpenPhone number in caller ID.
  4. Verify the routing matches the call-flow path you intended.
