Grasshopper
Use Grasshopper's forwarding settings to route inbound calls from your existing business number or extension to your Reflekt Legal assistant number.
Before You Start
Make sure you have:
- Your Reflekt Legal assistant number
- Admin access to Grasshopper
- A decision on whether to forward from the phone number level or extension level
- A forwarding setup that preserves the original caller's number in caller ID
Caller ID Requirement
When you test Grasshopper forwarding, confirm the forwarded call shows the original caller's number to Reflekt Legal.
Set Up Forwarding
- Sign in to your Grasshopper admin portal.
- Open the phone number or extension that currently receives inbound calls.
- Update the forwarding destination for that number or extension.
- Enter your Reflekt Legal assistant number as the external forwarding destination.
- Save your changes.
Test Your Setup
- Call your business number.
- Confirm the call reaches the correct Reflekt Legal assistant number.
- Confirm the forwarded call includes the original caller's phone number in caller ID.
- Verify the forwarding behavior is happening at the correct number or extension.
